Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AetherOps (the "Service"). By registering an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Accounts and security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and API keys.
• You must notify us immediately at zeytates@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
• You may not share your account credentials or API keys with parties outside your organisation.
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that show signs of credential abuse or automated brute-force activity.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access data belonging to any tenant other than your own.
• Submit log data containing real end-user personal data where doing so would violate applicable privacy law.
• Use the Service to store or transmit malware, exploits, or illegal content.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without prior written consent.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its infrastructure.

4. API usage and rate limits

The Service enforces rate limits (100 requests per minute per API key) and monthly AI analysis limits based on your plan. Exceeding plan limits will result in request rejection. Sustained automated abuse may result in account suspension.

5. Data ownership

You retain all rights to the log data and incident data you submit to the Service. By submitting data, you grant AetherOps a limited licence to process and analyse that data solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your data and will not use it for purposes beyond service operation.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" during the early access phase. We will provide reasonable notice of planned maintenance.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AetherOps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AetherOps does not warrant that AI analyses are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. AI-generated runbooks and postmortems are suggestions only — always apply human judgement before acting on them in production.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation. Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our retention schedule.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.
